Four facts for every domain
The console displays the most important information next to each name.
We show the exact dates from the registry. The time remaining is calculated from the expiry date.
You can toggle automatic renewal for each domain. If active, we invoice the renewal before the domain expires.
The overview shows the nameservers the registry uses right now. You can easily verify if a change is active.
Each domain has a permanent reference code. Use it in support tickets so we know exactly which name you mean.
Data from the registry
The list does not query the registry on load. It shows cached data. You can refresh it manually at any time.
- We cache the registration
We store the dates, status, lock, nameservers, and renewal setting locally. The list loads instantly, even if a registry is slow.
- Changes update the cache
When you make a change, we send it to the registry first. We only update our local copy after the registry accepts the change.
- Sync button
One button requests all data from the registry at once. It updates dates, contacts, nameservers, and locks in our system.
Expiry dates come from the registry, not from our invoices. The registry decides when a domain expires.
About the list
What happens if a domain expires?
The registry enters a grace period, then a redemption period. Recovery during redemption is expensive. Automatic renewal prevents this.
Can I turn off automatic renewal?
Yes, per domain. If disabled, the domain expires on its date unless you renew it manually. Use this to intentionally drop a name.
Why can I not manage some domains on the list?
If you hold a domain with us but we are not the registrar, it appears in the list with dates and invoices. However, management screens are disabled because we cannot call the registry.
Do you calculate or store the days-remaining number?
We calculate it live from the registry expiry date. The number changes automatically.
