We read every record back after saving
A registrar might confirm a change it failed to apply. We verify the zone directly so you never debug a missing record that the console says is there.
- We send the record
We send your addition, edit, or deletion to the registrar first.
- We read the zone
We pull the live zone and check for the change, ignoring the initial success message.
- We store the confirmed change
If the zone lacks the change, you see an error and our list remains unchanged. We only show real records.
This verification makes saving take a moment longer. It ensures the console matches reality.
Activation and default records
You activate DNS once. After that, you control the zone, except for the root NS records.
- Activation creates the zone instantly.
- The system creates root NS records on activation and marks them as defaults. These control the delegation.
- You can refresh the live zone anytime to verify records.
- You can add, edit, or delete all other records freely.

Common questions
Is DNS management free?
Yes. We include full DNS management with every domain. There are no record limits or query charges.
When do record changes apply?
The zone updates immediately. However, resolvers cache the old record until its TTL expires. Lower the TTL before a planned change.
Can I edit the NS records in the zone?
No, these default records define the delegation. To change your nameservers, use the Nameservers screen.
Why did the system refuse my record type?
The registry for your extension rejected it. We show their error and discard the change, instead of storing a useless record.
Can I use your DNS with external hosting?
Yes. Point your domain to our nameservers, then use an A record to point to your external host.
