حجب الخدمة الموزّع — إغراق الهدف بحركة من آلاف الأجهزة المختطفة حتى يعجز المستخدمون الحقيقيون عن الوصول. تتراوح الهجمات من فيضانات حجمية خام (تقاس بالتيرابت/ثانية) إلى استنزاف خفي في طبقة التطبيق. الصدّ يعني تنقية الحركة عند حافة الشبكة قبل وصولها لخادمك — سعة تستأجرها لا تبنيها.

Distributed Denial of Service — flooding a target with traffic from thousands of hijacked machines until legitimate users cannot get through. Attacks range from raw volumetric floods (measured in Tbps) to subtle application-layer exhaustion. Mitigation means scrubbing traffic at the network edge before it reaches your server — capacity you rent, not build.
